The National Centre for Early Musicformed a massed choir of 500 primary school children for a spectacular performance at York Minster, to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the composer Purcell. This film shows some of the songs being performed, as well as explaining why Purcell's music is still so well suited to young singers.
